What you should know about us.
Note: This is that part of this website where we list all the boring yet wonderful things about us that will make you drop everything, pick up the phone and call….
But instead of making it a boring list of a bunch of bullet points that fill up the page, here is the gist:
1. We are involved in the Black Hills Association of REALTORS, South Dakota Association of REALTORS, etc. etc.
What this means to you: We are connected to the necessary associations to give us the power to work the best for you…placing your home for sale on the multiple listing system (MLS) for immediate exposure to over 300 local agents, searching said MLS database for the perfect home for you, as well as staying up to date with current national and local real estate issues.
2. We have had numerous company production awards – monthly top sales, annual multi-million production, and annual spirit of cooperation awards
What YOU care about: We are full time real estate agents, working continually to promote your listing or find that home. We have had successes and many happy clients (many of whom are now our friends) to show for it.
3. Tristan was awarded Rising Star by Black Hills Association of REALTORS members in 2011
Yet another translation: Local REALTORS recognized his work in real estate and the Association and honored him with an award.
4. We are involved in various other organizations in the community.
Which means: We are in this more than just for ourselves. Here to help, here to serve, here to do what we can to make the world a better place.
5. We’ve been victims of real estate death by powerpoint.
Translation, take 2: We are required by the state of South Dakota to take continuing education courses to continue our training, network with other real estate agents, and make sure our negotiation and marketing skills are top notch!

What you may not need to know about us, but we’re gonna tell you about anyway.
Tristan:
I think that I am kind of a fun guy with a dry sense of humor (which may be evident by my remarks in parenthesis…I also like to use ellipsis…) I enjoy showing homes and taking great pictures to present homes the best. I also enjoy technology, gadgets, and web and graphic design. The internet is the only way to go – I try to use it as much as possible in all of my activities. A percussionist from my middle school days – I’m always drumming or tapping with or on something or other. Band Hero family champion. My family is a big part of my life as well – I’m very proud of my 4 kids and can’t wait to see what they bring out of life.
Sarah:
My favorite part of real estate is seeing the smiles on our clients’ faces when they close on their house, whether they are buying or selling. Knowing I helped someone find the best home for them or helped them sell their home so they can move on to new adventures, delights me and is why I am a REALTOR. Tristan says I am brilliant (thanks honey 
and organized, which comes from keeping up with 4 kids and my husband. When I have extra time (what’s that?), I enjoy reading, geocaching, and doing craft projects – my current mode is mosaic, but I like to try out different types. I love coffee and chocolate and don’t think I could live without them.
Mission Statement:
Our desire is to be a help to people…to know that we did everything we could to get them into the home they wanted…
or to sell their home in the time frame requested for as much as the market would allow.
We want to help families and individuals get to a better position in their lives,
so they might enjoy life more,
smile more frequently,
and treasure the little things life gives us.
We know… Buying or selling a home won’t do all this for you. But maybe it will be a step in the right direction.
